Spiritual direction is the guidance from one Christian to another on a spiritual journey to gain a deeper relationship with God. Spiritual direction can help a person be more aware of God's communication with them and respond on a more intimate level. Spiritual direction also helps an individual to love others on a spiritual level and use discernment rather than judgement in their perception of others. Spiritual direction is not a form of counseling, therapy, or financial advice but a relationship that allows an individual to grow and gain a deeper understanding of their spirituality.​
